There are times when we need to feel more confident to face a situation at work. Maybe you are going to give a major presentation or you want to ask your boss for a raise. You don't necessarily feel as self-confident as you'd like, but you can follow these tips to give you that extra boost of self-confidence you need.

When you feel that you look your best, you are more likely to carry yourself with more confidence.

Watch people walking by the next time you're at work. What does the walk communicate about them ?

  • WATCH YOUR POSTURE
Practice good posture to feel more alert, more confident, and more powerful.

  • PERSONAL ADVERTISEMENT
A personal advertisement is a one minute or less speech that you write about yourself and all your strength and abilities so you can refer to it whenever you need a confidence boost.

  • PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Write down at least five things every day that you are grateful for and you will be training yourself to stay focused on the positive in your life and about yourself.

When you shift your focus to what you give instead of what you get or how you are perceived, you will stop worrying so much about yourself.
